Guest Post Opportunity

Plumbers Rockhampton is happy to be guest-posting!

People have a variety of skills and experience, and that should be shared by the entirety of Rockhampton. In the end, we can all benefit. Amazing content, better SEO and more understanding for local residents.

If you’re considering guest-posting but not sure, there are a lot of benefits to it.

Why Guest Posting Is Actually Worth It

1. You Build Authority

When you write for someone else’s blog, you’re being trusted by their audience. Establishing authority usually takes time. However, guest posting gives you instant credibility in that niche, even if no one’s ever heard of you before. If the content’s decent, and it’s relevant, people start to take notice.

If you have a website and are trying to improve SEO, this is a better strategy. Unlike many other ways, your actually helping people and providing value. That’s a win-win-win.

2. You get backlinks

Backlinks are still very important ranking factor for SEO. But not all links are created equal. One organic link from a relevant, trusted site is worth more than 10 dodgy links.

When you guest post, your link is:

  • Contextual
  • Earned
  • Relevant

Your also establishing a relationship with us, so that we may organically backlink to you in future.

3. Build New Relationships

When you guest post, you’re also building relationships. Firstly, you’re forging relationships with readers and local residents. It are these relationships which create trust and ultimately buyers.

You’re also forging relationships wit us. We’ll be happy to support you throughout your companies lifespan and have a mutual relationship. If you’re company puts out an awesome blog, we’d be happy to link to it for free. Or if you need an infographic, we’d be happy to provide.

It’s more than just receiving. But it’s about giving. And guest posts create an environment where that can happen for each member.

The Right Way to Guest Post

Before you go on pumping out your guest post, have a read of some of our guidelines.

Here’s how to keep it above board (and worth everyone’s time):

1. Write Like a Human

We are people writing to people. I understand that it can be tempting to just ChatGPT the entire article. But that won’t make a very good blog post.

You can use AI to help you write your article, but it shouldn’t be obviously flagged as AI. Let’s hear about your insights and your experiences.

2. Content

The post should:

  • Be around 1000 words (give or take)
  • Have subheadings
  • Be original or a piece which you have the rights to
  • Have a short bio about the author

3. Keyword Stuffing

You can put keywords and links in your blog post. But don’t stuff it with keywords.

An example that is ok: “Plumbing is a very important aspect of any home.”

A bad example is “A plumber has a job to get the plumbing to work as the plumbing was designed to. The plumber works with plumbing everyday and has plumbing solutions…”

One example reads clearly. The other one is just a collage of keywords.

4. Blog Topics

Plumbers Rockhampton is both a local blog, and a plumbing blog.

Acceptable topics include:

-Plumbing

-Life in Rockhampton

-Local Business in QLD

-Home Improvement

-Plumbing experiences
